Filmed in Israel during the second Intifada, the story of Magic(s) follows a "Medical Magician" by the name of Magic Michael who travels from one pediatric ward to the next using laughter and humor to bring smiles to both young patients and their families. Featuring Israelis, Palestinians, Russians, Druze and so many other cultures who all suffer identical grief when a loved one is recovering from sickness or injury, Magic(s) learns of their particular stories from inside the hospital walls while tensions mount in the country of Israel outside the hospital. Magic(s) is the convergence of politics, culture and love.
As Magic Michael shares frequently, "children smile the same way all over the world."
